Paris, France is bordered by the Peripherique that acts as a barrier between the outer communities. Within this project, our group created an architectural approach that stitches these communities together by physically reaching across the highway overpass. This approach creates a better and safer opportunity to cross, while also filling the gap of program between Aubervillier and Paris.
One of our major concepts for this project was creating an interior layout that was adaptable. A single bedroom that could convert to two, or two bedroom could convert to a three bedroom. These Flex rooms allow for the interior floor plans to be specifically arrayed based on the users.
